Community High School's Legislative Semester, a required course for seniors, will hold its full session of Congress on Thursday, December 1 from 8:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The second full session will be Tuesday, December 6th, 8:15 to 10:45 a.m. The final full session is Wednesday, December 7th, 11:45 to 3:05. All sessions will be held in the CHS auditorium.
The Congressional sessions are the culmination of a full semester's re-creation of the legislative process and experience for each senior. They have been praised by legislators and parents and have been recognized as a Program of Excellence at Community High School.
Please see below for a list of the bills that will be debated and voted on during each of those sessions. These bills were proposed by students.
