Some news as we inch closer to Turkey day:

• The Wredling Middle School Student Council recently collected and donated two car-loads of cold weather gear to the Lazarus House shelter. Kudos to everyone involved in this terrific effort.

• St. Charles East High School will present its student-directed One-Act plays at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, Thursday, December 1, and Friday, December 2, 2005 in the Koeppl Black Box Theater at East High school. Tickets will be sold at the door. The shows include:
