2005 Commencement Speaker

This year’s Commencement speaker is Mr. Scott M. Finch, Director of Choral Activities at the Academy.

After serving the Lord as a true Living Curriculum Teacher at Wheaton Academy for five years, Scott will be leaving next year to study under Bruce Chamberlain at the University of Arizona (Tucson). Scott will be working on his doctorate with choral conducting as his major and vocal pedagogy as his minor. He will also be teaching and conducting undergraduate choirs at the University. Scott received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Covenant College and his Master of Music degree from Temple University.

Scott and his wife, Jennifer, have two children; Colby (4) and Tallis (2).

Wheaton Academy is honored to have Mr. Finch as this year’s Commencement speaker.
