Education Partners, good afternoon:
Lots of news for a rainy Friday leading to a rainy (and snowy?) weekend:
- IMPORTANT REMINDER: The St. Charles East-North faculty
basketball game planned for tonight (April 22, 2005) to benefit the Greater
St. Charles Education Foundation has been cancelled because of scheduling
conflicts. Apparently some of the local media missed this cancellation on
April 8, 2005 and has continued to publicize the game.
- Twenty-three of our high school students (14 East, 9
North) earned top honors at the recent 60th annual State Family, Career, and
Community Leaders of America conference. Congratulations to all! This story
is posted on the D. 303 website under news and (very appropriately) “303
Excels”:

- A reminder: parents of prospective kindergarteners
should register their children as soon as possible. Registration has been a
bit slow and we need those numbers to plan appropriately. Click here for
more registration information:
http://www.d303.org/news/press/registrationmain.htm and please share
this information with anyone who may need to know it.
- The Greater St. Charles Education Foundation has given
LCD projectors to our three middle and two high schools, completing the
donation that began last fall when the Foundation gave similar projectors to
all of the elementary schools. This tremendously dedicated citizens group
deserves our respect and appreciation. Click here for more:

- The John B. Norris Recreation Center Board of
Directors is looking for a new member. Click here for more info:

Have a great weekend!
