Bill Shreffler Thanks 4 The People
I would like to take a moment to thank all of the wonderful people in West Chicago for their caring thoughts and donations, which ensured that my K-9 partner, "Tess", would get the treatment she needed to fight her cancer. My family and I feel very blessed to have so many people take up the cause to "make things right" for "Tess".
Right now, "Tess" is doing very
well, and has completed her third of five rounds of chemotherapy. Her spirit is
strong, she's very active, and she shows no sign of ever having been sick. Once
the weather breaks, and she's through with her chemotherapy, she will resume
training for Human remains detection. However, since she was retired by the
Sheriff's Office
once she was found to have cancer, she will have to (and be happy to) continue
her work as a volunteer.
On behalf of my family and "Tess", thank you all so very much for your kind and generous donations. 4 The People and the people of West Chicago have truly made a difference in our lives.
