Election Update
I have polled the taxing bodies and offer the following, which is accurate to the best of my knowledge as of 18 Jan 2005 This is the third cycle on this information. Although petitions are now being handed in, it is still possible to receive packets from the taxing bodies (or county offices or state website), collect enough signatures, and reserve a place on the ballot. It's not much of an election if there are not contests for every office.

| Nobody knows who is a candidate at this time. However, each of the taxing bodies makes available packets of information for prospective candidates including forms for petitions, election information, and applications, They also keep a list of who has pulled the paperwork. This usually is a first step to getting on the ballot, but forms are also available at the County offices and from the state on line. Persons considering running might also opt not to circulate the petitions. Not all people running might be on the lists and all on the lists might not be running. | ||||
