DEMOCRATS GATHER FOR FIRST PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE

As the ranks of Democrats continue to grow in the wake of Obama’s nomination for the Presidency, local Democrats will gather to celebrate the strides they have made over the last four years in DuPage County and to cheer on a man they believe will enable Americans to take their country back from the failed policies of the Republican Party. Momentum and energy are at an all time high for DuPage Democrats, as evidenced by 23,000 more Democrats than Republicans voting in the 2008 primaries.

Oktoberfest Dinner to feature Brats, Sauerkraut and Potato Pancakes

Kwosek Obituary

Gary John Kwosek, age 61, of West Chicago, passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 at Hines VA Hospital in Maywood. He was born on August 2, 1947 in Independence, Wisconsin to Thomas and Vivian Kwosek. Gary served in the US Army during Vietnam and was a member of the VFW Post 6791 of West Chicago. He was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings.

John Schaefer, 93, of West Chicago, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Westbury Care Center in Lisle. He was born on July 17, 1915 in Chicago, IL and resided in West Chicago since 1950.
