The 2008 Commencement exercises for Wheaton Academy will be on Saturday, May 31, at 10:00 in the morning. The ceremony will be on the lawn directly east of the Fine Arts Center. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will move into the Fine Arts Center auditorium.
This year’s speaker will be Dr. Charles W. Pollard, President of John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Dr. Pollard is a 1981 graduate of Wheaton Academy. The entirety of the Commencement exercises will be webcast at www.wheatonacademy.org.
Founded in 1853, Wheaton Academy is one of the nation’s oldest Christian high schools. A college preparatory school, it is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and recognized by the state of Illinois and the DuPage County Education Service Region. Wheaton Academy is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International.
