Community High School students are looking for community donations of school, recreational and medical supplies to be sent in a shipping container to the school in Angola, Africa that CHS built. The shipping container is part of the WeGo 2 Africa project that is led by the Community Leadership class.
Clothing of all sizes (especially warm clothing), blankets, school supplies, crutches, wheelchairs and playground equipment (soccer balls, hula hoops, etc.) are needed.
Paint brushes, rollers, paint trays and drop cloths are needed to decorate the container which will be used as a classroom in Africa.
Donations can be dropped off at the high school during school hours. Weekend drop off times are as follows:
- Saturday, May 17th from noon to 4 p.m.
- Saturday, May 24th from 8 a.m. to noon
- Friday, May 30th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
