Philosophy: It is my belief that the Treasurer has a special relation with the citizens of the City. He is the keeper of all monies and accounts belonging to the municipality. He is responsible to the citizens for their safekeeping. I believe that my participation in the various local government offices, gives me the necessary background to be a successful Treasurer. As part of my duties as an alderman, I helped formulate the city budget and the spending strategies for over a five- year period. My education in administration gave me clear understanding of line item budging and accounting. With both course work and practical experience, I am qualified to be the Citys Treasurer Treasurer treasures support of votersDaily Herald 13 April 2001 I thank all the residents of West Chicago who voted in the city election. Local government is the government closest to the people. It is the government where you may make your voice heard to those who make the decisions.A big thank you to the voters who elected me their treasurer. I will endeavor to do the work of treasurer in a meaningful way. My door will be open to whoever wishes to speak to me about any city matter. We have a great city, and with your help, we all can make it even greater.
